Your head faintly buzzes with shattered memories
As you ignore the muffled alarm in your mind.
Your heart rages in bliss,
Swells with suppressed passion.
Control the urge to touch this innocent splendor
Don't take the purity from its spirit.
As you bring yourself back to consciousness

I wrote this recently. It's about how I was feeling about someone at the time. I'm kind of nervous about putting my poetry up here, bc no one has ever read my poetry. I guess I'm open to ideas...or what not.
